The game's storyline concerns a legendary vampire named Elizabeth Bartley who is Dracula's niece, suddenly appearing in the 20th century. The European and Australian titles were censored and both titled Castlevania: The New Generation. This version featured a considerable amount of violence, with the American port containing a surprising amount of blood and gore for a game of its 'GA' rating. It is the only Castlevania video game released on the Mega Drive/Genesis. Ĭastlevania: Bloodlines is a platform game developed and published by Konami for the Sega Genesis (Mega Drive) in 1994.
